18 of us went to the Abbey Taverna for a hen night, the table was booked for 8 oclock sat down around 8oclock we ordered our drinks, drank these asked if we wanted another said ok by this time it was 9pm feeling really hungry drank our drinks asked if we wanted another, we questioned the waiter when the starter was being served was asked what we would like, ordered our starter and dinner at the same time, had another drink, by about 10pm we had our starter, at 10.45 we had our dinner and more drinks the waiters were only interested in plying us with drinks the entertainment was pretty good but when we received the bill at 12.45 we asked where our desserts were, we were told they thought we probably wouldnt want any so did not ask us,(waiter said this with a smirk on his face) we were told we could have them if we wanted to but we had a cab booked for 1 oclock i think they do this all the time we paid 25.00 a head for this set menu starter/dinner/dessert think they thought we were all drunk and would not say anything, did not get a refund, was very angry when we left as we had already paid for something we didnt get. Dont go here if you dont want to be ripped off.

The food is tasteless and do not expect a greek experience. They might have the theme but the service, food and non greek music is unfortunate. The entertainment value is good if you want a 'do' but this place certainly is not for the experienced pallette. Leave it for the students and young crowd. To sum up this is a restauant you would find in a tourist hotspot abroad. Cheap food, uninterested staff, have a disco and hope the drinks flow to make them money. The lighting is very low too. There genuinely is no greek hospitality as you know it from any decent greek restuarant. Avoid this place or eat somewhere else then come back for drinks and entertainment.

This restaurant is a waste of time. We booked a table for 7:30pm, and were told to wait at the bar on our arrival. 45 minutes later, we complained that we still hadn't been seated, and were told by a surly waiter that they were still sorting out the seating arrangements. Once we were finally sat dowm (RIGHT NEXT TO THE BAR), it was another 15 minutes before we got the menu. Another rude waiter came round to take our drinks orders, and was rushing us to order. We all ordered Meze, and were expecting some traditional Greek food. When the food arrived, we were presented with Barbecue spare ribs, spicy chicken wings, chicken skewers and other dishes you would associate more with a Texan BBQ. The music throghout was all american and eglish, and not a single greek song was played. Hardly in line with the name of the place... When the bill came, we questioned some of the drinks, and were met with tutterings and mutterings... The place is also in a dodgy area, next to a fish bar and bus stop frequented by loads of hoodies and troublemakers. Steer well clear of this hellhole if you don't want your night ruined. 1/10
